What can I do to help actualize the vision of the “The Future of Israel”?
Theodore Herzl was an unknown journalist with no political power when he wrote “The Jewish State” (1896) and founded the Zionist movement. Everywhere the Jews were powerless. Anti-Semitism was ubiquitous and on the rise. The Jewish people had no national will and did even consider themselves a people. The Land of Israel itself was a depopulated backwater of the decaying Ottoman Empire. In the intellectual and political vacuum among the Jews of his time, Herzl’s vision spread rapidly, through the dissemination of his book and even more so by word of mouth. Within a few months of publication the idea of “The Jewish State” was known to every Jew. Only 44 years after his death, the Jewish people achieved Herzl’s vision.

By contrast, for us to dream today of taking Israel from a regional power to a world power, hardly requires any imagination at all. For God’s promise to make of Israel “A great nation” to be fulfilled requires firstly that this idea spreads to every Jew. Next we must now focus all of the energy and intelligence of our highly capable people towards one goal: The long-term, steady, accumulation of power for the Jewish people.

As in Herzl’s day the total failure of “land for peace”, and lack of intellectual and political alternatives insure that our idea will spread rapidly. This will be done through the dissemination and discussion of the ideas contained in “The Future of Israel.” The critical thing you must do to help bring this about is to spread this idea to everyone you know. If you own “The Future of Israel” lend and recommend it to all those in your community you feel should read it. For those further away you can email a link to this site. In the words of Deuteronomy “It is not in the heavens…Neither is it beyond the sea…No, the thing is very close to you, in your mouth and in your heart, to observe it.” We have already come a long way since Herzl’s day. Today a permanent end to Jewish suffering is within reach. In our hands lies the power to insure that the greatest days of Israel lies not in her past but in her future.
