DEVIN SPER was born and raised in New York. He emigrated to Israel, at the age of 17, just prior to the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Mr. Sper lived in Israel for 10 years and has a degree in Jewish History from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He served 3 years in the Israel Defense Forces primarily on the Golan Heights and in Lebanon. Since returning to the United States in 1982, Mr. Sper has spoken in defense of Israel to numerous audiences at Synagogues, Universities, civic organizations, and military institutions. Mr. Sper is also a Senior Fellow at the Center for Advanced Middle East Studies. He currently resides in the United States with his wife and two children and is the president of a scientific equipment company. His book, "The Future of Israel", received a 2005 Glyph award.
